Crypte L.

Abandoned crypt somewhere in Belgium. This crypt lies under a well known belgian cemetery and is now the eternal house of some famous people. It runs all along the graveyard, so it's quite big. It has been built in 1878 nad, from what I know, has been closed in teh eighties. The reason why it's forbidden to the public is that most of the ceiling threatens to collapse, so it's quite a dangerous place to be.

Manoir P.

Abandoned Manor somewhere in Belgium. I don't know much about this manor, but it must have been abandoned for a real long time. The manor in itself is in a very bad state: all the floors have collapsed, all that's left of it are the walls. In fact, the most interesting part of this small exploration was the dependencies, of which you can see a shot here. There was an old Volkswagen in one of it.

Tannerie Schotte

Abandoned tannery somewhere in Belgium. This old tannery is a very big place with many buildings. It's a well known place in the urban exploration world. There's not much to see there, as almost all the buildings are empty, but the architecture of this place is very nice, making it an interesting exploration. The place is very dangerous as there is asbestos almost everywhere in it. Some rumours said it will be demolished soon, but from what I've seen during my last visit, I think they will be renovating the place instead of demolishing it, which would be a shame.

Maison Romaine

Abandoned house somewhere in Belgium. This is another shot of this beautiful house. I explored it with a friend and we were really amazed by this house. It is quite big, and as we guessed by finding some papers in it, it probably was hte home of an automotive repairer, but it's not sure.

Full set on my urbex photography website, as usual.

EBTN

Abandoned military airfield somewhere in Belgium. This looks like a very interesting place, with a control tower, some buildings and hangars. I say it looks like because unfortunately I hadn't the opportunity to explore all the site, I just explored one of the buildings. While I was in the building, the police came, I just had the time to get out without being seen. I'll have to get back there one of these day !

Centrale IM: Control room

Urban exploration of an abandoned powerplant somewhere in Belgium. This is another shot of the famous Centrale IM, a well known powerplant in the urbex community. There are two control rooms in this powerplant, this is the older one, a really magnificent place, very 50's looking. For those who have played the game falllout, it will make you think of it. Unfortunately, it has been heavily damaged by the copper thieves.

Depot SNCB

Abandoned train depot somewhere in Belgium. This was a very interesting place as there were a lot of old unused locomotives inside and outside the depot. Unfortunately, when I went back there to show the locomotives to a friend, they were all gone. The depot is in the process of being renovated and sold.

Filature Nouvelle-Orléans

Abandoned spinning mill somewhere in Belgium. An exploration I did a few years ago with my wife. It was a nice location though in a quite bad state. A lot of the buildings there were really damaged by the time, but the main building was very pleasant to explore.

Piscine S.

Abandoned swimming pool somewhere in Belgium. The same day I went back for the second time to the usine Shelt, I also went back to the Piscine S to show it to a friend. Here's a picture from the diving of the swimming pool of this day's session. While exploring this building, we also noticed that the place was used by squatters. Fortunately, we didn't met anyone that day.
